Reflections and Eulogies
Barbara Anderson, daugther of Charles and Helen Youngman, walked into heaven
on March 3, 2008 after a four month struggle recovering from heart surgery.
Barbe’s life was devoted to God, and her greatest
love was her family. Barbara is survived by her daughter, Tracy (Bill) Rickman of Perrysburg, Ohio, son, John (Laurie
Schlegel) Anderson of Holland, Ohio, six grandchildren, Melissa, Angela, John, Samantha, Lucas and Jakob; brothers; David
(Inge) Youngman, Dennis Youngman and Bill (Jenny) Youngman; sisters, Marilyn (Larry Laberdie) Kopkau and Shelly Collins; many
nieces and nephews, and good friend Jeanie Martin.
Barbe was preceded in her journey by her true love
for life, John "Jack" Anderson, who passed in 1989, and her parents who left us in 1999.
Barbara touched the community in many ways.
She was a long time educator at Bittersweet Farms community for adults with autism where she continued to work one day a week.
Along with Jack, she was leader in community theater in Bedford Michigan in the 70's and 80's. She continued sharing
her love of theater to the present, teaching at the Children's Theater in Toledo, Ohio.
Barbe will be dearly missed by the many, many people
she touched in this world.
